We need to have laws in place to recover loss created directly and indirectly by mob violence. Expressions of dissent are acceptable in Modern Society. but loss of life and Property Never. Stopping others from earning their livelihood is also unacceptable, and part of the calculation on losses incurred and recovered from the leaders who call for any such act.
CC TV camera recordings should be carefully studied, and miscreants identified.
Those who flex muscles and destroy should be taken aside by the police, not at local stations, finger printed, their Aadhar number recorded, and given a week of penitential advice and a mild massage on the ill effects of their violent actions. Once acted upon without political back bending will ensure we are a civil society for all time.
