Expectations raised High. A New Order was discussed pre-election,
where everyone would be part of the Gear Train. It was faux pas to propose huge sums in every account, not knowing where the money would come from. It was incriminating to wage war on the unseen. All these to garner Votes, get elected and be the chosen one to steer the country to declared heights.
The excited crowds waved as the New Team was in place.
And then the Cookies began to Crumble. The first crack was when it was revealed that all untruths (Joomla) are acceptable in an election.
The downward slide began when the flanks got exposed. Decisions made by raw emotions without having understood the consequences of such actions caused all wondering who the real target was of these decisions. After all it was done for Indians, by Indians.
Unemployment began raising it's ugly head. Prices hit the ceiling.
Everyone was waiting eagerly for the Good Days foretold. He was the chosen one, to deliver his people to Good Times.
Nothing happened.... trouble started brewing. The pressure kept building.
Unemployment increased. The whistle was made defunct, and all nay sayers nullified. The explosion to follow would create ripples globally.
What we saw yesterday is the first sign of unrest at the lower levels of society. If corrective action is not taken at twice the speed, it would not augur well for the Nation State in the Global Community
Time to Get Up and Get Real
