Surely we can think of better ways of saving Rain Water that otherwise gets drained into the Sea. Below is a very simple solution provided. If this can be implemented, a good percentage of it could help recharge the water table.

Once the ground gets recharged, the area water table rises, benefiting all. This water can be used for gardening, washing and other non potable purposes
