Citizens who wish to represent the Local Body either in Municipality or Gram Panchayats should have served in Public Service in an NGO for a Social Cause for minimum 5yrs. They should have a track record of having done good work to qualify for these elections. Once elected and having served a Term, he can qualify for being elected as MLA. having completed another Term as MLA he qualifies to stand for election as an MP.
Age should be a criteria and once he has crossed 60 yrs he can NO longer stand for a Public Post. The Retirement Age that is applicable to other Job profiles should be applicable here also.
