The next day the Fridge arrived. There seemed an issue. Called the Store. They said the Technician would arrive from the Factory and set it right.
After many calls and refusals, finally a Demo Guy arrived and got my Fridge
started. He said the issue of misalignment will be resolved by someone arriving from the Factory.

I have been chasing this person, the past 2 days and now she tells me she is working for an Authorized Service Center and has posted my complaint with Hitachi. I cannot and will not be wanting to sit forever waiting for a Techie to arrive, and until then sit with my fingers crossed. Plan to take it up with all resources at my command so that we Indians do not get cheated like this by a Japanese brand.
Yesterday after my post on Twitter, got a call from Alak of the Hitachi Head Office (+9197732XXXXX) who confirmed that the Technician would arrive this morning at 11:00am His Number was shared.
Got a call at 10:30am this morning, where the Technician regretted to come. He wanted to know who could confirm his visit without his confirmation.
Not sure how Hitachi operates in India, and how their Team operates, that a Techie could refuse an instruction given by the Boss.
