One of the Main reasons why Housing Societies refrain from planting trees is because the costs of trimming full grown trees is prohibitive. If the Municipality takes upon itself the onus of trimming trees throughout the year, and for the entire area under its jurisdiction, then we will find all growing trees enthusiastically.
We can by this small change in responsibility, Green Mumbai to 200% of the present in a decade.
